Our Heart & Story
For years, Ristorante Renato worked quietly with local school social workers to make sure children had what they needed. In 2024, that simple desire to give back blossomed into Spreading Smiles, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ensuring no child misses out on the magic of being a kid.
Today, our "Buddy Bags" program sends over 900 children home with weekend meals every single week. From brand-new shoes so kids can walk into school with confidence, to serving nearly 2,000 warm Thanksgiving meals, we believe that a simple act of giving can change a life.
